What are the benefits of Membership?
Benefits include participation in our classes, field trips, Park/P.E. Days, and other social events based on membership options. For more information on available options, please see our Membership tab.
How do I become a member?
1. Attend a meet and greet or schedule a meeting with Co-op Coordinators.
2. After approval, we will discuss your roles in T.H.E. Co-op.
3. Complete enrollment packet.
4. Register for classes and pay your fees.
How much does membership cost?
Membership costs $30 per semester (Fall, Spring) per family.
This fee, along with the class fees, reflects the cost of facility rental, insurance, administrative costs,and materials.
Do we need to take classes or can we just go on field trips and park days?
After paying your membership fee, you are welcome to join us for just these fun events.
Can we take just one class or do we need to sign up for the whole day?
You are welcome to take as many or as few classes as you like.
What are the class fees?
Our class fees typically range from $20-$45 dollars.
This fee, along with membership fees, reflects the cost of facility rental, insurance, administrative costs,and materials.
Do I need to stay with my child while they are in class?
Yes, parents must remain on the premises at all times. There will be a designated area for parents and siblings.
What are my responsibilities as a member?
All members are required to assist in T.H.E. Co-op.
Members can assist in classes, plan field trips, or help with administrative tasks and P.E. days.
All members will be required to take part in the cleaning rotation.
Can I join and take classes after the semester has started?
After the semester has started, class registration will be closed.
Can I plan a field trip?
Yes, all members are encouraged to plan additional field trips.
If you would like to schedule a field trip, please follow the below procedures.
-Contact a Co-op Coordinator.
-Please complete the field trip request form (available from Co-op Coordinator).
-Please have the following information ready:
-Location
-Date
-Time
-Description
-Ages
-Fees
-Payment method
-Payment deadline
Will field trips only be on Tuesdays?
We will have at least one field trip per month on a Tuesday.
Additional trips may be scheduled on other days.
Can I teach a class next semester?
Yes, members who have participated in T.H.E. Co-op for at least one semester are welcome to teach new classes.
If you are interested in teaching a class, please meet with a Co-op Coordinator and complete a Class Request Form.
