First Fruits Farm is a non-profit Christian ministry dedicated to providing fresh, nutritious produce to those experiencing hunger in the Mid-Atlantic region. Since 2004, thousands of area volunteers have helped harvest
over 13.4 million pounds of fruits and vegetables to share with local food banks, homeless shelters, soup kitchens and other food providers.
Every year, thousands of volunteers from all over Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the Eastern Seaboard come to First Fruits Farm in Freeland, Maryland to get their hands dirty and harvest produce. It's the real deal - we will work hard picking tomatoes, potatoes, apples, corn... whatever is currently in season.
